Running has been in blood since I could remember. I ran my first full marathon in 2005. Since then I've ran 5 Marathons, 7 Half Marathons, multiple 10 k and 5 K races, and 1 Sprint Triathlon. My bucket list includes running all 6 Major World Marathons along with completing a Half IronMan and a Full IronMan.
All my training in the last 14 yrs had been via online static training schedules that required you 'pound the pavement' on a very frequent basis. I never incorporated swimming or cycling into my training before. While I completed each of the races I entered, I never felt as if I was actually improving.
Fast forward to December 2018 at the age of 42, I decided to sign up for my first Half Ironman in Connecticut; at that same time I came across TriDot on Instagram gave it a try. 5 months later, I am getting stronger on all three disciplines each week, have the confidence to take on my first Half Ironman, and have more time to spend with my family.
TriDot has completely changed the way I look at training either for a triathlon or a marathon. I'm also signed up to run the Berlin and New York City marathons later on this year.
